Reduction in Bruxism (grinding/clenching) can be achieved with therapy that may relax muscles.

The procedure involves targeting the superficial facial muscles in the Masseter muscles.

Within two-three days the therapy aimed to relax muscles begins to take effect. After ten to fourteen days, you should see the full effect.

The treatment lasts for approximately 4 months, depending upon the individual. Results will wear off progressively.

Suitability for bruxism/masseter/clenching/grinding:

  • Aged between 18-65;

  • Not pregnant;

  • Not breastfeeding;

  • Have no neuromuscular disorders and disorders of muscle weakness including but not restricted to Myasthenia Gravis and Eaton-Lambert Syndrome; and

  • Have no infection at the proposed treatment site.

Patients should always discuss their medical history with their doctor and disclose any medications they are currently taking, which may interfere with the procedure.
